Experiments with delivery of HDTV in IP networks
Conversion of broadcast television from legacy analog PAL and NTSC and standards in digital format, there are many exciting effects. They include the possible convergence of television and computer network infrastructures, allows interactive applications, as well as enhancement of the quality of possible with high definition digital formats.
To this date, the various aspects of this approximation are examined separately: there has been much work on the transport of compressed standard definition Television during the IP, and a lot of work, established protocols and standards for high definition television (HDTV), but few have studied the transport of HDTV in the IP. In this paper we present our initial experiments with the system to deliver production quality decompresses HDTV by IP networks.
